How we work

A clear process, so you always know what happens next

No black boxes and no big reveal at the end. You see progress every week and agree each step before it begins.

Our process

Five steps from idea to ongoing support

  1. Discover

We listen, ask the awkward questions and agree what success looks like.

    • A free consultation to understand your goals, users and constraints
    • An optional paid discovery sprint when the project is larger or less certain
    • You receive a written scope and a fixed-price quote or clear estimate

You get: A clear scope, timeline and price.

  2. Design

You see and click through the product before we build it.

    • User flows and clickable designs for the key screens
    • Feedback rounds with you, and with your customers where possible
    • Technology choices explained in plain language

You get: Approved designs and a build plan.

  3. Build

Short cycles with working software you can try every week.

    • Weekly demos on video, so you see real progress
    • A shared task board and written updates you can follow without chasing us
    • Automated testing and review on every change

You get: Working software, tested and reviewed.

  4. Launch

We handle the release, so go-live day is a non-event.

    • Setup of hosting, domains, backups and monitoring
    • App store submission for mobile apps
    • Training for your team and handover documentation

You get: Your product live, and your team ready.

  5. Support

We stay on hand as your business and customers grow.

    • A post-launch warranty period, agreed in your contract, to fix any defects
    • Optional support retainer for updates, monitoring and quick fixes
    • A roadmap for what to improve next

You get: A product that keeps getting better.

Ways to work together

Pick the arrangement that fits your project

Not sure which is right? We will recommend one after our first conversation.

Discovery sprint

A short, fixed-fee engagement of one to two weeks. It ends with a clear scope, designs and a firm quote.

Best for: new products and uncertain scope.

Fixed-price project

An agreed scope for an agreed price, with milestones along the way. No surprises on the invoice.

Best for: well-defined websites, apps and systems.

Dedicated team

A team that works on your product month after month, with a flexible scope and a predictable monthly fee.

Best for: growing products with a long roadmap.

Support retainer

Monitoring, updates, security fixes and quick changes, for a fixed monthly fee and with a fast response.

Best for: live websites, apps and systems.

Communication

You will never have to chase us for an update

Weekly demos

A short video call each week where you see and try the latest working version.

A shared task board

See what is done, in progress and next, any time, without needing to ask.

Written updates

A short summary of progress, decisions and anything we need from you, so nothing is lost.

Our promises

What you can count on

Simple commitments that we put in writing, so working with a young company carries no extra risk for you.

  • We will sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share your idea.
  • You own your code, designs and data once the project is paid for.
  • We keep the work in your repositories and accounts wherever we can.
  • Handover documentation on every project, so you are never locked in.
  • A post-launch warranty period for defects, written into your contract.
  • Quotes that say what is included, and changes agreed before they are built.
Questions

Working with us

What if my requirements change during the project?

Change is normal. We estimate any change before doing it and you approve it first, so the budget never moves without you knowing.

How and when do we pay?

Fixed-price projects are paid in milestones agreed in your contract. Retainers and dedicated teams are invoiced monthly. Quotes are in NZD for New Zealand clients and LKR for Sri Lankan clients.

Do I need to know anything technical?

Not at all. We explain every decision in plain language, and tell you what we need from you and when.

What if we are not happy with the work?

Weekly demos catch problems early, so surprises are rare. If something is not right, tell us. We will fix it, and the warranty period in your contract covers defects after launch.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us what you are trying to achieve. We will reply within one business day with honest advice, whether or not we are the right team to build it.
