Privacy policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

SVERD TECH LIMITED (“SVERD TECH”, “we”, “us”) is a New Zealand company. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We aim to follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, for people in Sri Lanka, the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our form, we collect what you type into it:

  • your name and email address;
  • optionally, your phone or WhatsApp number, company, country, the services you are interested in, your budget range and your timeframe;
  • the message you write to us.

Like most websites, our host also processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and send you a confirmation email;
  • to prepare a proposal or quote if you ask for one;
  • to keep this website secure and working properly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and handle enquiries. Today these are Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website, and Resend, which delivers the enquiry emails to us and the confirmation email to you. These providers may process information in other countries, including outside New Zealand and Sri Lanka. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and visit statistics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and manage any resulting work, and generally no longer than two years if no project follows. If you become a client, we keep information as set out in your contract. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Keeping it secure

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps and will tell affected people and the relevant authority if a serious breach occurs.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it or stop using it. If you are in Sri Lanka, you also have the rights set out in the Personal Data Protection Act, including withdrawing consent. To make a request, send us a message through our contact form. We will respond within the time the law requires.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact theOffice of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand, or the Data Protection Authority in Sri Lanka.
